Commodore’s Highlights – The weather is fair…
The weather is fair and the Solent beckons! I’m actually going out on consecutive weekends, and it’s the first time I’ve done that as far as I can recall!
I’m bringing along an Introductory Member for one of them as well. I’ve found that people who give the club a try find it very much to their liking. It offers sailing opportunities of a wider range and with better ease of access than they can find elsewhere. And at a keen price!
It is great to see the increase in training and sailing development outings the Sailing Committee have set up. These are particularly focussed on the springtime season, before the yachts go away on distant cruises. So if you think it time to deepen your skills, make your plans quickly.
There are still good opportunities for going sailing this spring, not only mid-week but in spare berths in many of the weekends. Even if you are not a skipper, if you fancy some sailing with others you know, even friends who aren’t current members, let Tony King on firstname.lastname@example.org know and the Club will seek a skipper to help you get out.
In Any Other Business……
We are still keen to get more suggestions and recommendations for a location to hold our 25thAnniversary at! Email Andy Bowerman on email@example.com .
Why do seagulls fly over the sea?
- Because if they flew over the bay, they’d be bagels!
